Carole Walther has more than thirty years’ experience as a paralegal in the administration of estates and trusts including related tax return preparation. She has worked with Lou Harrison since 1995. Her skills include the preparation of probate court documents and working with clients, realtors, appraisers, bankers, brokers, transfer agents, and financial advisors in the gathering of asset information and ultimately working through the collection, liquidation, and distribution process as set forth in the estate planning documents. She works with attorneys in the preparation of individual and fiduciary income tax returns, estate tax and gift tax returns, and returns for charitable foundations. When working with the directors of private charitable foundations, Carole is responsible for insuring the selected recipient charities are qualified not-for-profit organizations and that the foundation’s investments and activities comply with all statutory requirements.
Carole is also the firm’s Paralegal Coordinator and works to provide the attorneys with the paralegal support they require in all practice areas.
