Kim assists attorneys in establishing and administering charitable foundations. She oversees registering foundations with the Illinois Secretary of State and the Illinois Attorney General and also prepares all documentation necessary to have foundations approved as exempt organizations by the Internal Revenue Service. In the probate field, Kim works closely with attorneys in the administration of guardianship estates for minors or disabled adults. Her experience includes all stages of the guardianship process, from the original petition to open the guardianship to the annual accountings and ad hoc petitions for Court action.
