Marty has over 50 years of experience in the areas of taxation, probate, estate and trust administration, real estate sales and exchanges, and business law.
Marty began his career with the Internal Revenue Service as an IRS Estate Tax Attorney. After a year there, he left the IRS to open his own firm bringing with him a wealth of tax experience. He counsels business owners, senior executives and high net worth individuals and families on the various aspects of estate and tax planning to maximize wealth protection and minimize taxes. He prepares individual, corporate, fiduciary, gift, and estate tax returns as needed for his clients. He advises clients in all manner of agreements from family to prenuptial to operating agreements. Simply put, Marty does or gets done about everything his clientele requires to keep their tax, estate and other needs in a sense of reasonable order.
Marty serves as Chairman of a very substantial foundation granting scholarships of significant size to needy high school graduates in South Carolina.
