Jeffrey L. London

Chief Executive Officer

Jeff London is Chief Executive Officer of Harrison & Held, bringing a wealth of leadership and legal experience to the role. As CEO, Jeff offers innovative solutions to the firm’s operations, maintains the firm’s collegial culture, and helps guide the firm’s vision for the future. In addition, Jeff works closely with the Executive Committee to set strategy and oversees the firm’s human resources, administration, finance, and information technology departments. 

In his legal practice, Jeff advised public and private companies in all areas of executive compensation design and counseled boards of directors and compensation committees in structuring compensation programs and agreements for themselves and their executive officers.

London is also a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel, a member of the Advisory Board of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation, and a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals. Previously, he served as chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Employee Benefits Committee and as an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law for 22 years, teaching in the employee benefits and executive compensation area.

Prior to joining Harrison & Held, Jeff was a partner with Arnold & Porter (and Kaye Scholer, LLP, which combined with Arnold & Porter in 2017), focusing primarily on employee benefits and executive compensation programs. Before that, he was with Sachnoff & Weaver (now Reed Smith), where he served as Co-Managing Partner.  Jeff has also held positions at premier law firms, such as Winston & Strawn and BakerHostetler.

Jeff holds a J.D. and M.B.A. from Duke University and the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, respectively, and a B.A. from Haverford College.
